TADIKA CAHAYA KHALIFAH: May 2013

On 6 January 2013, TADIKA CAHAYA KHALIFAH (TCK) had organised a Communication Day at the TCK premise. The objective of having this programme is to provide an overview to parents / guardians (especially on new enrollment students) about the Little Caliphs Programme as a whole. The presentation was also including the brief about TCK Vision / Mission Statements, the Little Caliphs Scientists Module (new module for 5 and 6 year students), TCK 2013 Taqwim and finally with the Q and A session. Light refreshment were also provided during the presentation. We hope this programme will be continued in future, as it seem to be the best opportunity for parents to interact and exchange ideas.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah Al-Mighty and may the Prayers and Blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH).

First and foremost, I want to take this opportunity to congratulate TADIKA CAHAYA KHALIFAH (TCK), Cahaya SPK in organising this cheerful activity. This event will be a significant one as this will be TCK 1st Annual Sports Day event since it’s Grand Opening in December 2011. As we all know, at this level, sport activities are good because they are part of helping children understand the fun of taking part in sport and the importance of being keen challengers but also gracious in defeat. As Khalifah of Allah, their knowledge, skills and positive attitude need to be developed in tandem with healthy body, mental and spiritual. Although the spiritual upbringing is far more important than the physical upbringing but the physical element cannot be neglected at all.

I want to remind here the 6 Core Values of Little Caliphs, so that parents should take notes and together with TCK to build up the best Khalifah of Allah in the next 10 years:

1. The understanding of the Two Kalimah Syahadah.

2. The learning and love of the 5-times Solah and other obligations as the slave of Allah.

3. The love for seeking knowledge and remembering Allah.

4. The good manners as a Khalifah of Allah (akhlaq and adab) and the love to his Muslim brothers and sisters.

5. The sincerity for Allah, and the belief of Allah’s rewards in the world and akhirah.

6. The duty to propagate the teaching of Islam.

Finally, I do hope this activity provide the best opportunity to all parents to participate and interact among each other. On that note, I wish جزاك الله خير and السلام عليكم.
